GOING, GOING, GONE
Junior Erin Binkowski leads the Broncos with 10 home runs on the season, she is just one home run shy of breaking the WMU single-season record (10), set by Lexi Jager in 2009. Binkowski has totaled 17 career home runs and is third for career home runs. Senior Sabrina Gamboa has recorded four home runs this season, putting her career total at 19. Gamboa is second all-time in career home runs and six home runs shy of Lexi Jager who has 26. As a team, seven different players have combined to hit 24 home runs for Western Michigan this season. The Broncos as a team rank seventh for combined home runs in a single season, just one home run behind the 2012 team which hit 25. Last years team set the all-time record with 38 home runs.
IN THE CIRCLE
Four different pitchers have toed the rubber this season for Western Michigan - senior Allyson Kus, Erin Binkowski, sophomore Anissa Sanchez and freshman Jordan Kurth. Kus leads the staff with a 9-9 record and a 2.82. She has struck out 73 over 104.1 innings pitched, both team highs. Kurth has a 4-5 record with a 3.19 ERA and has tallied 54 strikeouts in 59.1 innings pitched.

Allyson Kus has earned three wins and a save in the last four games the Broncos have played. Kus pitched complete games in all three wins and has struck out 17 over the past 22 innings pitched. Over the four-game stretch Kus has held opponents to .173 batting average and has allowed only four extra base hits.

Binkowski and junior Kelsea Cichocki are both batting over .300 on the season. Cichocki has recorded a .326 batting average going 30-for-92 and has recorded a team leading eight doubles. Binkowski has a .337 batting average going 28-for-83 and leads the team in RBIs with 26 and home runs with 10.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
The Miami Redhawks are 22-13 overall, 7-1 in the MAC and 3-6 on the road this season. The Redhawks are in sole possession of first place in the MAC East Division. Miami has won three in a row after sweeping a two-game series against Bowling Green and winning the rubber match against Toledo. As a team, the Redhawks are batting .300 and have a 3.70 ERA.
