KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team was selected to finish fifth in the MAC Preseason Coaches Poll announced on Wednesday.

Western Michigan is led by head coach Penny Jernigan. The Broncos are coming off a third place finish in the league last year and had three All-MAC selections.

This year the team will begin its season on Jan. 9 at home against Illinois-Chicago. The meet will be broadcast on ESPN3.
