CLEVELAND -- The Western Michigan men's basketball game at Akron on Friday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. has been selected for broadcast on ESPNU.

The Broncos open Mid-American Conference play at home on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. against Kent State before heading on the road to battle the Zips.

WMU is in action next on Tuesday, Dec. 22 when it hosts IPFW at 7 p.m. Western Michigan fans can take advantage of the Holiday Special, with an upper level reserved ticket, a hot dog, box of popcorn and a small fountain drink for just $12. Tickets must be purchased in advance and the deal will not be available on game day. The Holiday Special is also available for the Saturday, Jan. 2 game against Jacksonville.
